Public school, Gopalpur, Haridwar, India – 2025

We were especially inspired by the Gopalpur School, which stood out for its organized and holistic approach to education. The school features an impressive herbal garden, and much of its administration is managed by a dynamic, student-led “parliament.” Here are some photos from our visit:

Anushruti Academy for the Deaf (AAD), 2025

We funded the annual payroll for two teachers at Anushruti Academy for the Deaf (AAD) in IIT Roorkee, India. This school is our primary education grant beneficiary. We have continued to fund the annual payroll for eight teachers in 2025. The school has over 200 students enrolled in grades up to 12th (see some recent pictures below).

Micro financing

Besides education related projects, we also have been funding micro-finance loans through Kiva, helping individuals attain self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship. Since our inception we have loaned over $35,000 towards micro-credit loans. We have given 694 loans (88% to women) in 56 countries so far.
