About us
We are a group of friends, who share a common vision in the form of service to others. We are a community volunteer run organization. Our volunteers help and support us stay on course and motivate others to do the same.
Mission
Our goals are to give back to society by focusing on facilitating education (and subsequently employment) of underprivileged children; providing nano-finance loans that change lives and bringing about spiritual awareness to make the world a better place.
We strive to serve our communities selflessly and with compassion. We believe in empowering those that are less fortunate than us.
Better Living Through Giving was founded in July 2008 as a non-profit organization. We are a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations made to us are fully tax deductible.
Glimpses of Impact...
We have completed several projects since 2008. Some of the highlights are as follows:
- Assisted schools in paying teachers’ salaries to support primary education of 200+ underprivileged children
- Provided books, uniforms, and other school supplies for primary education
- Tuition assistance for deserving students towards vocational school degrees
- Scholarship grants toward professional/higher education degrees
- Helped finance construction of computer labs and school facility extensions
- 485 Nano-loans provided in 45 countries amounting to $21,000 over 13 sectors (agriculture, retail, food, etc.)
